Let's Give Tom Arnold A Break.

Ok he's not my favorite actor or favorite anything, but after seeing him on the roast of Joan Rivers the other night I thought 'wow, Tom doesn't look too bad after all these years' I mean its pretty obvious that he maybe dabbles in some cocaine now & then but come on its Hollywood, who doesn't. I just think he deserves some credit for maintaining a decent image of himself. He's had a rough life like everyone else and not so good circumstances in his adult life that were publicized, but he pretty much has stayed out of major trouble and with all the celebs I see fucking up on the daily I take notice when someone like Tom isn't.
I know he married Roseanne but I think we've all forgiven him for that and moved on. I mean its not like he got caught with a black prostitute like Hugh Grant or didn't pay his taxes like Wesley Snipes. He's done pretty well for himself. He didn't have any kids so even if he does get all hopped up on drugs or alcohol he's not gonna pull a David Hasselhoff. That's something I can respect. Since there are so many people, let alone celebs that have babies as accessories and don't commit to raising them right.
Arnold has been very outspoken about having been molested as a young child. His perpetrator was a 19 year old kid from the neighborhood that his mom hired to babysit. In a interview with Adam Carolla, Arnold revealed that the sexual abuse ended when he was seven. He took matters into his own hands & took his father's rifle and tried to confront the man, who lived down the street from him.
On an episode of Loveline, Tom revealed that at the age of 30, he tracked the man down and confronted him at his workplace. The man denied the molestation and told Arnold that his memories were wrong.
"I gave him my spiel about giving him back the pain and shame. He came up to me and jammed his finger in my chest, and for a second I have to admit I was scared. But I snapped out of it, and told him, 'If you touch me again I'll break your f------ neck.'"
He discovered that the man had adopted three boys and was attempting to adopt a fourth. Arnold had his employees print up and post flyers around the man's town. The flyers had the man's picture and name along with a description the man & sought help to stop the adoption from going through, it worked.
THAT'S FUCKING AWESOME! & SOOOO SOMETHING I WOULD DO :)
So stop the hate, Watch this clip (which happens to be my favorite) & be a Tom Arnold supporter!
